Chgo, Il/ I was separated from my husband 6 yrs ago but not legally. I have a 16 month old daughter who is not his but would like to have his name on her birth certificate and give her his last name/ my husband passed away 6/16/2000 . We discussed giving her his last name and putting his name on her birth certificate and I even mailed paperwork to Mexico where he was currently living but documents came back because they never arrived to his correct address. What should I do?
