I was just wondering how strong of a small claims case I have. My driveway was blocked by somebody all day. I contacted police. They gave him a ticket and told me to call tow truck company. I called about 10! tow companies. All of them misteriously didn't have any tow trucks available or they said they were coming but never showed up.
The car was not moved all day (about 8 hours), which resulted in my whole day being wasted. I was stuck at home because of this. I took pictures so I have evidence.
I wondering if it is worth going to small claim court with this. Can I sue for "my time being wasted" ?

thanks

NY

Nah.

You cannot sue for your time being wasted. I guess there could be some instances where if you missed work because of it, then you could seek damaged. However, from what you posted thus far, you have no damages. It even looks like you are just out to get someone and/or just to seek revenge.

But again... no damages, no real case.
