BM Wants NCP to Take Drug Test

I live in nj and the bm wants ncp to take a drug test. There is no good reason and these are false allegations. She is just looking for an excuse as to why child shouldn't have visitation with ncp. Ncp agrees to take test but doesn't feel he should have to pay for it since these are bm's allegations. This was not a court order.

Does ncp wait til judge orders it at next hearing or does ncp wait for bm to pay for it? will it look bad to judge if ncp refuses to pay but is willing to take the test.

again there is no reason and i imagine bm has burden of proof, so shouldn't bm have to pay?! and if there is no court order does ncp even have to consent?

Ncp agrees to take test but doesn't feel he should have to pay for it since these are bm's allegations

try the local health department if he is willing. hopefully taking the test and proving that is clear will shut her up.
however, keep up with the results for a later date if you need them.

The BM on her own cannot order anything. If and when a court orders a drug test, take it. Let her know that you'll be requesting that she pay for testing and attorney fees.
