Posted on RE buy/sell board as well.

Texas. I am searching for a real estate attorney to assist me with the sell of my home. I am not from this area and must rely on the yellow pages. I have noticed quite a few attorneys that are *not* board certified. What does this mean? And, how important is it for them to be board certified? Should I absolutely make sure the attorney I hire is board certified? I contacted one attorney then I noticed in the phone book that they are not board certified. I asked about this and the attorney stated that that is not important in this matter. Is this true? Thanks
