I was arrested in California. My parents went through a bails bondsman and posted bail. In court, charges were dismissed and the judge ordered the bond be exonerated (sorry for the spelling). The bondsman refused saying that was his fee. If the bail was exonerated, does that mean he got the money back from the court and kept the money he received from my parents? Can't they get that money back?

A bail bondsman charges a fee to put his or her money on the line. That fee is not refundable.
