What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Massachusetts..

The president of my employment announced that all employees in good standing were allowed a 2% bonus of our annual salary. I have been employed
here over 8 years. Out of the blue, I was given 2 artificial warnings .

1. making hangup calls which I didn't do and they had no solid proof of
2. Being on a chat room which I denied and wrote a letter to HR to block
me form internet so I coul'd be accused which they accommodated me.

I was told I can't get this check because of these alleged warnings.''

Any Legal Recourse...

You're not an employee in good standing. The DOL has nothing to do with bonuses. If you try to sue over the bonus, even if you can find a lawyer and have a good case, you will surely be fired, and that would be legal. So basically, no you have no recourse.

Tell you what, Scottsman.

Since your posts on this and other boards show clearly that you will not be satisfied until you have sued your employer, hire an attorney and do just that, instead of constantly asking the same questions over and over of internet bulletin boards. That is, IF you can find an attorney to take your case.

If this had been something owed to you from some agreement you might be able to find a lawyer to take your case but by your own admission this payment was completely discretionary.
