I purchased a language program on ioffer and I asked questions before I purchased and was assured the item was genuine and included all the manuals etc. When the package arrived from Canada, it was 2 discs that were copies or blank ,who knows, as the program will not work..I have contacted the seller and it was one excuse after another, now he just ignores my emails. I contacted paypal since that is what I used to make payment and they tell me they can not do anything because they only get involved if it is a shipping issue. I never heard of such nonsense. So basically the seller 1) bootlegged the program 2)sent me either blank discs or faulty bootlegs as they don't work BUT because he actually sent me something Paypal does not care to help. Now what? I did report him to a piracy site. But i'd really like to get my money back, I don't know where else to turn...
I know I know...buyer beware....I shoulda known....
Any suggestions where I can go with this? There are at least 5 other complants for the same thing....of course after I made my purchase. There are many sales that are nto rated, and a handful that were happy with their copies. GRRRRRR
I don't know what else to do...Can I report him to some legal eagle who can at least put a stop to his works? Any suggestions would be appreciated....
