Lancaster, Ohio. My boyfriend and I received countless telephone calls from one of his old friends. He said that he was interested in obtaining Estacy. My boyfriend told him that he could not obtain it. His friend still kept calling. (I had 5 messages on tape of only a few of his attempts.) The friend told him that he had $25,000.00 from a car accident to spend on drugs for a party. Any drug would do. My boyfriend aparently agreed take him a vial of L.S.D. Well, my boyfriend did not deliver it and stood his friend up. The friend was calling again. Finally, my boyfriend apparently agreed to meet him. He had decided to sell him something fake so his friend would leave him alone. So, we show up. (My boyfriend has no license, so I would take him anywhere he wanted to go, no questions asked) and my boyfriend gets out of the car. I am playing with my CD player, and suddenly there is a man with a gun at my head! My boyfriend plead guilty, he is in jail, I am in a diversion program. This is INSANE! I have read all I can find on entrapment but this is so borderline, I cannot figure it out! By the way, we were both charged for "Delivering and selling in a counterfit controlled substance". Is it too late to do anything? Should he have taken it to court? Should I?
