What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I recently left my previous job. I had 52 hours of vaction time accrued and the Company DOES have a policy to pay-out accrued vacation when you leave.

When I saw my last paycheck, I was paid for 12 hours of accrued vacation. We have a timesheet tracking sheet and I correctly recorded my vacation time throughtout the year.

I contacted HR and they said that my boss said that I had used all by 12 hours of my accrued vacation days. I was never notified, never questioned, and I know that he does not track overtime at all.

I do believe that HR realizes that this is an issue and I will be paid. However, I'm EXTREMELY angry about the situation. Basically, my old boss is saying that I lied and they tried to slip the amount in my last paycheck without contacting me of the change.

Are their any legal ramifications of my bosses/Company's actions?

Thanks

Let's see, your vacation time was figured wrong. You discussed this with HR, and the matter is going to be corrected. You are going to be paid for your accrued vacation time in the correct amount.

In addition, you would like to see your former boss hung, drawn and quartered because he lied and attempted to cheat you. You would like to sue your former company for mental anguish they caused you because your accrued vacation time was not figured correctly. In a word, no.
