Hello everyone,

As the title says, I bought software online for about half a year ago which was a 1 time payment and that's it. I recently received an e-mail saying they're going to change the service into a 1 time payment incl. a monthly fee of $6.00 are they allowed to just suddenly change the subscription fees? I know that they're free to do so with new customers who haven't bought the software yet. But what about the people who have bought the software before the new subscription fees??

Thanks!

If we're talking about an online SaaS, the contract you signed almost certainly allowed them to change the pricing at any time (with notice). Is that what we're talking about? More cetails are needed.

As for the credit card billing, if you didn't authorize the recurrent billing (or you chose to stop it now even if you did), contact your card issuer. Not going to be an issue shutting it off.
