My sister's boyfriend has lived with her in my mothers home for 3 years. They have no written agreement but I am sure at some point and time she has told him to give her money to help buy groceries or to help with some of the bills. He has completely distroyed her home, punching holes in the walls, putting his fists through glass and ruining her carpet, etc. He is very violent and tonight went into a violent rage refusing to leave sighting himself as a tenant. Tonight the police escorted him out and he was told not to return tonight. What rights does my mother have and how fast can she get him out of their lives? He has never consistently paid rent(he's basically a bum!) They are considering a restraining order, but I don't know what rights he has and if they do that, what do they do with his belongings?
We live in Georgia by the way

Thanks

Get a restraining order on him, and if he shows up have the loser thrown in jail......

AH throw all his stuff in one of those U-RENT IT facilities....pay the first month, then if he doenst pay the rent they will eventually sell all his stuff at auction

Sue him in court, get a money judgment against him and if he ever gets a real job you can have his paycheck attached.

Now the most important part of the advice:

YOU MUST get your sister into some type of Mental Health counsuling, She has a BIG problem with MEN or should i say low life rednecks, she needs to get help, and find out why she thinks she deserves to be with such losers.

Has she dated other violent low lifes before? Has she been abused before?

Remember most women have to get beat up ( broken bones black eyes, emergency vists) maybe 6 times before they realize they have a problem, lets try and prevent this from happening.
