What is the name of your state? Ohio

My ex was recently in court for petty theft from a previous employer and is on probation. I believe he has other property from another employer that has been stolen as well. I have kicked him out of my home but his belongings are still here including the assumed stolen objects. Should I report this and to whom?

You don't know whether the items are stolen or not. Make him pick up his things or deliver them to where he is staying and be done with him.

Please try to keep all of your related questions to a single thread.

Your ex is in West Virginia now, correct?

Is your ex-boyfriend on probation in Ohio or is he on probation in West Virginia?

If West Virginia, your ex-boyfriend probably is not allowed to leave the state (unless probation has been transferred to Ohio). If stuck in West Virginia, he will be unable to personally retrieve any property he has left in your house.

I don’t believe so. He was put on probation Thursday and left for West Virginia the same day
Okay. He might be in trouble if his probation officer is not aware he has left the state.

Whatever the case, follow your state's process for eviction. Worry about his property after he is evicted.
