What is the name of your state? Texas

If a creditor sues for a deficiency judgment, can you argue breach of contract at the trial if the car's transmission has to be replaced after two weeks after signing sale?

One year later, the engine broke down, as well.

My response:

No. The condition of the car has nothing to do with the contract; i.e., whether you owe the money. Claims concerning the condition of the car are between you and dealership if there's a warranty - - not between you and the creditor.
