California:
I settled a dispute with a former employer who subsequently retaliated against me in several ways and ultimately included me in a across the board layoff. One of the conditions of the original settlement was that no information regarding the settlement were supposed to be devulged to the public.
The former employer sent a media source the payout specifics of the settlement without my permission.
Does this action on the part of the former employer which included retaliation constitute a breach of contract?
