What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CO

We ordered windows to be installed through Home Depot. We signed the contract May 2016, and the job has yet to be completed (almost 5 months later). Should I get a lawyer to seek compensation for their failure to complete the job? The project is still in process, but has been handled horribly by HD. They "say" they will compensate us, but I don't believe much of anything they say at this point.

What are your damages?

Do you, in fact, have a contract at all? Did you put a deposit down on this?

Your options are likely to rescind the order and go elsewhere or see what inducement HD is going to give you.
