I entered in an investing contract with a personal acquaintance who’s company renovates commercial and Residetial properties. We discussed terms, had a contract drafted and notarized by a notary. The terms of the contract, I invested a set amount and a specific payment amount for the next 3 months and then the initial investment amount at the fourth month. I received the first payment a few days late and it has been a constant struggle. I only received the first full payment and now the agreed contract date when I was suppose to receive all payments including the return of the initial investment has passed. It has been constant lies and I have also been threatened with violence. I would really like some advice on what I should do.
