Breached Lease

I live in Missouri, Plaintiff is in Kentucky.

I moved out of Kentucky and left a unpaid lease behind. I made arrangements to pay the lease and am economically unable to make the payments. I have recieved a Civil Summons demanding a defense be filed within 20 days or face a default judgement for a relief of 3902.00 plus 12% annum.

What can I do?
