from Ohio. Hate to do it but I need to break the last 4 months of a two year commercial lease. I looked over my lease and seen nothing in writing on what would happen if I did break the lease early. It only states " If Tenant shall default in any such obligation, Landlord in addition to any other remedies it may have, shall be entitled to apply such sum toward Landlord's damages." This is under the security deposit section. So does this mean I would only lose the security deposit or would I also owe for the remainder of the lease. Thanks ahead of time for any help!
