I live in Va and moved in this house with my wife on october 15th 2000, my wife is german and her mother got very ill and called for my wife to come home, doctors dont know if she gonna make it...now i am alone here and cant afford the rent for this huge house alone....my question is; is there a way to get out of the lease ( it would end september 15th 2001)...please help i am desperate!!!!

The landlord told me on the phone that he will take me to court if i dont pay the last 10 months of this agreement, and would want even more money, in the lease i just saw that i signed where the lessor supposed to sign, and he signed correctly but his wife signed where the lessee suppose to sign...does that help me?

Talk to your landlord and give the heads up. The only way out is if you help run and pay for ads, show the place etc. to find replacement tenants.
