The IRS has just announced that the portal for people who normally would not file a return (and are not receiving SS or RR benefits) is now open at irs.gov.

They also announced that next week they will open a portal called "Get My Payment" that will show you when to expect your payment and how much it will be. That portal will also give people an opportunity to enter direct deposit information if they did not include that with their original return. They did say however, that if your payment is already scheduled to go out when you check the portal, that you will have to wait for a check.
