breaking of apt. lease in TX

Hi,
I reside in El Paso, TX. My daughter signed a yr lease on apartment (also in El Paso). The lease will expire June 16th. She is relocating with her finace to Arizona in Mid March & would therefore like to break the lease. What are the legal ramifications of this action?

she can be sued for the rest of the rent unless the landlord agrees to let her out of the lease.

and make sure she get that in writing!
