What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

Is there a legal difference between a Business Agent and a Business Representative of a local union? Thanks.

A business agent deals with union business outside of the workplace the union represents. If a union needs picket signs, the business agent will handle the purchase of the signs. A business rep deals with union business between the union and the company who's employees the union represents. In most cases, he will represent an employee if there is a greivance in the workplace.
