We are from Wisconsin. Our business name is similar to another business that deals in the same product. Recently the other company sent a letter to all my vendors and customers stating that we were calling accounts payables and attempting to steal customers from them. However they were trying to steal them from me. They are intentionally misleading the customer. I have a copy of the letter because of course one of my good customers showed it to me. Isn't this against the law and if so what are my options? Isn't there slander, defamation of character or something involved here?
