My husband sold our house by ourselves. We accepted an offer from the buyer, at the time of the signed contract she had to put down a $1000 deposit and within a week an additional $9000. There were some minor things on the inspection report that we didn't agree to correct. She said she wasn't buying the house. We said fine we will fix everything. She said she wasn't buying the house, on the day we were scheduled to close. Do we have any recourse against her? Are we entitled to some, if not all of her deposit? What about our expenses that we incurred? We live in New Jersey.
