What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida,
I am a realtor that represented a buyer in a real estate transaction, in which the buyer earnest deposit check bounced and then the buyer supposively got laid off two days later. HIs mortgage company disappeared and they never gave us the loan comiitment or loan denial before loan approval deadline. Am I liable for this as the realtor and what is the remedy to this matter? now the sellers attorney say that I, mortgage company and title company along with the buyer are liable. please advise
