What is the name of your state? NEW JERSEY
I recently sold my 1989 dodge van on Ebay which Ive never done before the first bidder bid eighteen hundred and won but he never showed up so i paid the fees and relisted the van the next guy won the bid for 900 hewas told the van was idle for three years but starts right up and runs good he saw pictures and was told there was no muffler or running board on right side He was from maine and still insisted on sending me a check so I would overnight the title to him so I did and he said he would register it and bring plates to pick up in a week.when he got here he called me at work and said he didn't want it because it had rust on it and he wanted his money back. I told him he already transfered the title and he knew it was eighteen years old. He said he wanted a full refund and to pay him for his time and expence. rather than fighting with him I said to put his plates on and take his van home that I just lost time from work and had done everything he asked me to do he even asked me to say he only paid 150 for it for tax purposes. And I left him there with his van.when I came back the van was still there and he went back to maine and says hes taking me to court for fraud. than a day later he says hell take 80 dollars off the refund to avoid court. But the title is in his name and Im practically giving it away .Can he do this to me is that legal. Or should I have the van towed away. Don't know what to do dont want to be stepped on any more than I've been. Any advice as to the legality of this matter would really help. What should I do??? . Thanks in advance Anthony. What is the name of your state? He now claims to sue me for twice the amount. and claims to have spoken with attorney general in NJ and FBI. I refuse to acknowledge him at all I think he's a Fruitcake. He already transfered the title .Its legally his not mine.I would have to buy it back register and insure it and pay new tax and title fees .This can't possibly hold up in a court of law can it ?? Can ANY ONE GIVE ME SOME PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. I POSTED THIS FOR AN ATTORNEY AND HAVE GOTTEN NO REPLY???? AM I USING THIS SITE WRONG?
