I sold a house in Texas 3 weeks ago. IMy agent asked me if I wanted to take the curtain rods with me or sell them to the buyer. I ferred them for $250. Since I never heard from buyer about this, I took them with me and the matching chandelier, toilet paper holder, hand towel rod, and bath towel rod. He was irate and called my agent depanding compensation. I offered to bring them back to him, but now he doesn't want them. Buyer wants to sue me if I don't send him a check for $200.

Can he do that? I didn't know the difference between curtain rods and towel rods, thought I could take them if he didn't pay me for them. Otherwise I would have left them if I knew!
