Hello,

I filed last week for divorce, which in the state of CO takes a min of 90 days.

My parents have offered to lend me money for the down payment on a house(They have not givin me the money yet). My concern is that somehow this can be used against me during the division of property. From what I've read, it appears that since this is after the initial filing I should be ok because it was not coming from any of the marital funds and is being given after the divorce filing.

The 90 days is a real pain in the #$@, my current lease is up in 60 days, and if i cant buy a house until after that, it will be a real pain.

Thanks for your advice in Advance!
