I am buying a house (in Arkansas) from a family member and was wondering if it would be legal to use a regular bill of sale. I know there are lots of long confusing forms used in buying a new house, but this is not new and we have agreed on a price. Besides, this is someone I know I can trust and I will not be keeping anything currently in the house. I hope a bill of sale will do because if we have to get into contracts and binding agreements I think my head might explode!!

**A: Sure, you can use a bill of sale provided the trailer you're buying has wheels and is not considered real estate. If not, use an attorney.

There are people that posted on this website that thought the same way as you and lived to regret it.
