My personal doctor recently prescribed an ED drug for me. I live in a rural area and mainly can only buy it at the local neighborhood pharmacy. Each pill is about $42 and of course my health insurance does not cover any of the cost.
I know there are many online pharmacies on the Internet and many advertise these drugs at deep deep discounts. My main concern is that I know there is a lot of drug traffic on the Internet and some may involve some "not so legal" online pharmacies. Some of these pharmacies offer meds for purchase even without a prescription or using their "so called" physicians that consult with you as the patient online and then write the prescriptions.
I would like to try and save some money on this medication but of course do it legally and not get caught up in any type of illegal activity that the pharmacy is involved in.
Is there a listing put out by the DEA or some other agency that lists what online pharmacies are legitimate or are regulated by the DEA? How do I know when I am dealing with an online pharmacy that they are operating within the law?
The use of this drug is not really a once in a while use drug for recreational purposes. My doctor knows me well and this is for my relationship that is constant and is struggling because of my ED problem. Because of this my purchase for this drug will be far more often and cost me a fortune if I continue to buy it at the local pharmacy.
Any advise will be helpful along with some guidance as to what maybe I should look for when shopping online pharmacies.
Also, if the pharmacy is located overseas and ships to the US can it still be legal to purchase from them or should I stay away from any overseas pharmacies. What about ones in Canada; are they any different from the ones overseas?
Thank you so much for your help here.
