What is the name of your state? TN Could buying and selling a car at a profit have any effect on my chapter 13? There would be no credit involved in the purchase of said car. Thanks

No, but I assume you would be selling an asset ?? You'd better ask your lawyer before you do it. I suspect it shouldn't be a problem since you're not incurring any new debt, but messing with assets of the estate might be tricky.

Thanks for your quick reply Ladynred!!!! I don't want to do anything to mess up my 13...I'm almost 1/2 way through. I was going to do this for a friend who has some id problems, however, I may just do it for him through POA instead of putting my name on the title. This should keep me out of it. Thanks again for all you do!!!
