I live in Indianapolis In I answered an ad on line from a private seller to buy a
car. I went to drive the car and decided I wanted it. He was asking $15,000
for the car an offered him $13,500. I got a bill of sale form and sent it to him and he filled it out and signed the paper. I have the copy and took it to my credit union. Now he won't answer my calls to complete the sale. Is the bill of sale legal, do I have any recourse to get this car? He had a loan he had to pay off before he could get the title. His mom was suppose to help him pay if off.

Thanks for your advice.

If he transferred the title to you, then you can get the car.

A sale is not consider consumated till there is an exchange of payment for merchandise. Till this happens, the seller can change his mind. You could try to sue to force your "bill of sale" but it would end up costing you more than the car you are trying to buy.

Sure.

Every Thursday night wherever the local ricer crowd meets to race. They ALL have 700hp in their minds.

rolleyes!

No, no, Dallas, Toyota has decided that family sedans NEED 700 hp in case some wimpy Maxima owner wants to spin for pinks.

Or maybe hp is actually hb as in hybrid, and 700 is, uh, I don't know.

]I was only inquiring on line regading a charge card, wanted to just read about it.unfortunatly they ask for my bank account number and I gave it to them.I didnt finish the questions because I didnt want it. they have no place to go back and say Im not interested. I never signed any agreement. they have since deducted money from my checking account. when I called the number I was told the only way is to cancell which I did, but to get my money I would be sent a form to fill out which I did. this has been going on since dec.21,2005. when I call to inquire about it Im told the people who hande credit does not except phone calls. even though I was assured this had been cancelled another deduction has been made. can you help me get my money back?

What does this have to do with the original post? You need to start your own thread.
