Just a few day ago on August 21St I placed order on line at
Prestige Camera ( Brooklyn N.Y) for Sony Digital Camera. $626,24 was shown
as a purchase price $595.00 for camera+ $31.24 delivery, no tax.
Two days latter August 23Rd salesperson representing Prestige
Camera called me asking for shipping address confirmation.
During our conversation he try to upgrade the order by offering
few accessories as well as one year warranty and guaranty 5
days delivery . I turned him down as soon as I realize that all
he is trying to sell me was already included in $626.24 package.
I told him I’m going to think about it and I will call him
latter with my decision. Sunday August 26TH after logging to my
Credit Card account I discovered that Prestige Camera had charge me a
different amount and transaction for $731.00 was posted.
I also received a email with a information about estimated delivery day
schedule for Monday August 27th. Morning that day I called
customer service at Prestige Camera few times and few times
I had been placed on hold for more than a 30 minutes each time. Unable
to reach them by phone I send Prestige Camera customer support
email requesting a cancellation of my order before actual delivery
do to substantial monetary discrepancy. In this email I included
my cell phone number and ask customer sales representative to
call me so that matter can be further discus. Subsequently I called
UPS and informing them that I refuse to accept delivery from
Prestige Camera. I also call Credit Card company and ask them to
open a file to dispute a charge from Prestige Camera.
Till this time nobody from Prestige Camera has got in touch with
me. Please advise my on what needs to be done to reverse this charge.

You've done it already - refuse delivery and dispute it with your credit card company.

If you have any documentation from the original on-line order (you should, including hopefully a confirmation from them), hold onto it. That will be useful in finally resolving this.
