my significant other lives in the state of arkansas and is going back to court to have child support lowered because one of his kids has turned 18 and met all the requirements to have him dropped from support. My friend is a truck driver who owns his own truck. We are trying to find out if depreciation on his truck will be taken in calculating his new amount of support payments.

income that he receives is the major factor.

there are only a few items that could adjust the support order:
any previous support orders for other children.
health care costs.
any regularly occurring medical expenses.

depreciation on the truck only helps on taxes
