To calculate my net income for child support, can I deduct medical expenses; money taken out of my paychecks each pay period for healthcare expenses for me and my kids(pretax); money that is paid for sitters that is mandated by a court order; and money paid for kids activities that is mandated by a court order and taken out of each paycheck? The wording used in 750ILCS 5/505 part 3 lists deductions from income to include, "medical expenditures necesssary to preserve life or health, reasonable expenditures for the benefit of the child and the other parent, exclusive of gifts."
