What is the name of your state? California

Hello,

I am about to send in my California tax return (form 540). The instructions for my California return is a signed copy of form 540 (obviously), but also to include a copy of my federal tax return.

So, my question is: Does the copy of my federal tax return also need to be signed, or can it be an unsigned copy?

Thanks,
mw

Why would you want to provide an unsigned copy? That makes no sense....simply sign the copy.
