Reciently a freind was given 7 months for
a first time perole violation. His initial time served was for "Felon possessing a fire-
arm".He was arested on "Access to a weapon"
and a dirty urine test. His prison research
found he should've only recieved a maximum
sentance of 4 months. He is interested in
wether this is true, and needs to know what
he can do about it if it is ? -Thankyou

I'm not quite clear on your friend's parole violation, however, was the 4 max months for just the failed urine test or for the access to a firearm? The 4 months may apply to one, and the remainder of the time given to him may be due to the other. You may want to advise your friend to recheck that.

Thankyou for the reply !
The 4 months was given for the perole violation and the 3 months was given on his
dirty urine test.Is this the most time he could've gotten being it his first violation ?
