What is the name of your state? CA
Q: I beleive there is a limit to how many years back CA has to provide you state income tax refunds. If I have not filed for 5 years and I take the oldest year's calcualted refund amount and apply it to the nex't years estimated taxes instead of taking the refund (line 43 & 44 of 540 form). Then continue to due this every year until 2005 - will the state allow this to roll-over so in 2005 I can apply for the rolled over refund amount. (This assumes every year a refund was due)?
