State is FL.

I got a letter from my parents in NM today. Inside was a questionaire from the courts in NM for jury duty. I haven't lived in NM in over 6 years now, so I have no clue as to how they came to the assumption that I am still living with my parents....

Anyhow, it asks for my current address, county, etc info. There is a portion for Grounds Requesting Excuse, but there is nothing on that portion regarding the fact that I no longer live in the state of NM.

When I return the form with my new address, will they consider the fact that I live over 1000 miles away an excuse for not being on the jury? Also, should I enclose a paystub, copy of my DL or voter's registration as proof?

Sorry if these questions seem silly, but I don't want to end up with a warrant out on myself...

Thanks,
Carol
