This question is from Georgia.
Can a creditor sieze the cash value of a life insurance policy to help satisfy a judgement? My mom has a small insurance policy and her credit card debt is several times the cash value of this policy. I am her sole benificiary on the policy. The policy is not paid up as of yet and won't be for a few more years. Mom has no income except Social Security and that goes to the nursing home where she is residing. She has no property, stock, bonds, savings AT ALL.
