apparently while my fiancee and i were at the river in arizona, we drank a little too much and argued a little too much. needless to say, things happened and the last thing i remembered was the sheriffs arriving. I was still very intoxicated when i pressed charges of dv on him. i did so because the person camping across from us said they saw him shove me into the ground scratching up my back. the problem is that i don't remember it ever happening (apparently i blacked out)but i did have the scratches. i only wanted him to go to jail overnight to cool off but i didn't realize it during the time the sheriffs were there. is there any way i can drop the charges. i can't have contact with him at all for 30 days... what can i do to fix this whole situation? who do i contact if i am able to drop the charges?
