What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

First off this isn't my situation this is my fiancé's.
Anyway, she attended adult classes at a vocational school for a year after high school. The school told her and all the other students in her class that tuition would cost a certain amount, I forget how much but we have all the bills and everything. At the end of the school year the school came back and said each student owed another $500+ for tutition because they miscalculated the cost at the beginning of the year. (My fiancé only had to pay $100 because she dropped since we had to move away.) Basically I would like to know if the school was able to just say "hey you owe us more money" out of the blue like that. We don't want to get screwed over. Is this legal and could we sue them for doing this? This happened to a group of about 15 people who were in class together. Please and thank you for advice. I'll answer questions because I know this probably doesn't give you enough info.

For what, exactly?

Your fiancee should read the fine print very carefully. Or, have an attorney look at it.

Just sue for them to take away the bill for her and the class.
What should I look for in the fine print? Something like the right to charge more or add a charge or something?

You know this will cost her more than $500, right? You have no legal liability. Neither now, nor after you marry.
