My girlfriends car was reposessed for being 14 days late. we paid the 340.00 payment for july and the 300.00 repo fee. the tow company said there would be a 100.00 fee to get the personal belongings that were in the car at time of repo....after advising there was nothing in the car we wanted they then said they were going to take off the license plate and keep it if we didnt pay the hundred dollars.....can they do this?
