I have an acquaintance who is an illegal alien. He is living with and caring for an aging relative who plans to leave his house to him in his will. Is there anything wrong with owning a home if you are living here illegally?

So, I guess there is a lot of anger out there on the issue of immigration and illegal aliens...

But my question was whether it is legal for an illegal alien to own a home.
