My sister-in-law (my husbands sister) is telling everyone that I had an affair with my brother-in-law (my husbands other sisters husband). This is absolutely not true and it is wreaking havoc in our lives. Is there anything that I can do to shut her up???????????????

Isn't this slander? This is getting way out of hand with her. Would I have any legal recourse to sue? Anything?

Yes. If you want to make this issue a part of the public record forever and ever, AND if you have $10,000 or so to spend in legal fees, depositions, etc., go ahead and file a lawsuit.
