In my husband's divorce papers, it states that he must send his ex a copy of his W2 each year as long as support is due. It has now been 3 years, and each year his ex has refused ANY certified mail from him. She feels that it is childish to send her things certified, so she just doesn't accept the mail. Is there anything we can do? We save all things she refuses, but we are tired of the games! Are WE wrong for sending things certified to cover his butt? Thanks for any advice!

Keep up the good work!!!

she can not ask for higher child/spousal support without proof of his income.

And your husband would have a valid claim that she didnt need the money or else she would have accepted the w-2's and filed for an increase.

YES it's game just get used to it......at least this time it benefits the MAN!!!

No, you're smart to send this by certified mail, along with any other legally required documents.

If his ex-wife ever alledges that you failed to comply with any court orders, your husband will have proof that he did so. Or in this case, that he complied but that his ex-wife refused delivery. She's being very foolish about this but that's her problem, not your's or your husband's.
