can demand letter be used as evidence?

made a loan of 1100.00 to friend... cash, no signed receipt. after 6 months and failure to repay, i sent a demand letter certified, return, receipt. can this demand letter be presented as evidence of the loan if defendant is lying and saying she never received because she knows it was given in cash?...please help court date coming up this month.

The letter can be used as evidence of your demand for repayment of the loan but is not evidence that you made the loan or that the other party agreed to pay you back.
