I have 2 months left on a lease but my disability has progressed to a point that I must move to a location wher I can have in home help, ie: very close to relitives who can be with me all day. We're 1-1/2 hours from family at our present location.
Can landlord enforce 30 day notice and lease termination fee requirements due to a medical condition forcing me to move? My only other option is a convelesent home.

Maybe, and maybe not.

You only have 60 days to go before your lease is up. You would have to give appropriate notice. Perhaps you should have given it before your condition got so bad.

Talk to your landlord and see what you can work out. Don't make any demands and be flexible. Its the best way to get anything done. Keep also his needs in mind.

Always remember the Landlord has a legal right not to lose even ONE DAYS RENT.

Even if you die, your estate has to pay the rent till its re-rented!
