I have a situation that I feel is not fair,I would like to know if my supervisor has the right to transfer me to another store.I have worked at this store for about 7 months,My Husband got me the job,He was the manager but he recently quit because of the way they were treating him.Except for me and another lady they hired 3 new employees.I was just told today that they were going to transfer me to another store thats about 20 miles away,I currently live less than a mile away. They have no reason to transfer me,I think it may because of my husband,I think they are mad because he left,The store has really went down.I would like to know if I have any legal rights,I think if anyone got transfered it should be one of the new employees. Please if anyone can help tell me what to do.By the way I live in wv.Thank you

I don't hold out much hope. You are a short term employee, they'll concoct a reason, and the store manager probably wants you out and hopes you'll quit. Have you a union?
