What is the name of your state? NJ

I am an H1B holder. Currently I am working on a long term Software Project. I have an offer from another company to work in weekends or after my office on their project in software field.
Can I work & receive company pay checks legally from that company?

Kindly reply,
Thanks in Advance

Thanks for your reply eerelations.
The amounts I will be receiving will be less than $600 per quarter. This is not a regular work and I will not be getting it regularly as only if that company has something very urgent only then I will get the work. So in a quarter(3 months), I will be getting less than $600.
Kindly Reply,
Thanks in Advance

It has nothing whatsoever to do with the amount of money you'll be making (or I would have said so in my previous response). You could be making $600 per quarter, you could be making $6 billion per quarter, you could be making 6 cents per quarter - if this company you're making any money at all from is not named on your H1B documentation, then you're legally not allowed to be working for them. Period.

Why don't you just read your H1B documentation? (And why didn't you do this before you embarked on inquiry?)
